Perfect Sense and Scripps Networks Interactive collaborated on the launch of HGTV, Scripps' flagship site. The launch featured a new site section called Photo Library, a photo-driven experience that aggregates Scripps' extensive collection of photo assets into searchable libraries. 

Another new element of the new HGTV is My Photos, a Brightspot® app that allows users to save, upload, organize, and share their favorite photos. The new HGTV includes a single sign-on across the HGTV family of properties, allowing users to access their photos whether they're on HGTV, HGTVGardens or Frontdoor

Media Desk, Perfect Sense's intuitive digital asset management system, allows Scripps editors to efficiently manage hundreds of thousands of photos and videos. Media Desk also includes an easy-to-use interface for managing and creating photo galleries, including the ability to add linkable 'hotspots' to photos. 

This launch was the work of a tight partnership between Perfect Sense, Scripps, and several complex integrations with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), other internal systems at Scripps, and Gigya. Perfect Sense contributed front- and back-end development, QA, operations, and project and product management. The launch date was set at the start of the nine-month project and the work was delivered on time. 

This is the latest launch in the seven-year partnership between Scripps Networks Interactive and Perfect Sense Digital. This work will serve as a foundation that makes future site migrations easier and more cost-effective.
