With the launch of Health Data Management, Employee Benefit News, and Employee Benefit Adviser, SourceMedia is on its way to fully integrating all of its market-leading digital publications on the Brightspot platform. Known for its financial, technical, and healthcare publications serving senior professionals, SourceMedia partnered with Perfect Sense to unify its portfolio on a single, flexible, and scalable platform that will enable SourceMedia to further its business objectives.
To launch these initial properties, Perfect Sense oversaw the migration of 14,000 articles, 3,000 opinion pieces, and 1,000 slideshows. Additionally, to meet the needs of SourceMedia, Perfect Sense integrated Brightspot with DoubleClick for Publishers, Google Analytics, Sailthru, Marketo, and Brightcove Video.
Working with the creative agency Work & Co, Perfect Sense delivered a rejuvenated user experience complete with improved native advertising and mobile display. The new sites also include a dynamic “Reading List” and continuous scrolling article pages that engage visitors with relevant content. Additionally, Perfect Sense developed day-parting publishing support, to enable editors to deliver unique content at different times of the day—ensuring that each audience receives the right content at the right time.
From initial conversation to launch, these three publications took just four months for Perfect Sense to build. Throughout 2016, additional SourceMedia properties will be added to Brightspot, empowering SourceMedia to better serve its subscribers and its marketing clients.
