Since 1968, Special Olympics has been bringing one message to the world: people with intellectual disabilities can and will succeed if given the opportunity. Perfect Sense has been proud to be a part of this mission by providing all product development and user experience services to their organization. In addition to launching the core website in 1998, we helped with the creation of the tribute site honoring Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the R-Word: Spread the Word to End the Word campaign, and a Very Special Christmas 7.
We first provided design and product development leadership for the official Special Olympics organization site in October 2008; more recently, in the fall of 2011 we again partnered with their leadership to re-imagine the site. The new experience uses high-impact visuals to drive users to engage with Special Olympics' historical content, photo galleries, and social media platforms, while also putting a focus on volunteerism and fundraising. We look forward to continuing our partnership with SOI this year and into the future!
