FIFA World Cup
Starting with the kick off of the FIFA World Cup on June 12, 2014 all eyes around the globe are focused on Brazil for one month. Univision, broadcaster to one of the largest Spanish-speaking audiences in the world, captures the excitement online by offering its visitors the opportunity to participate virtually in all the action.
Univision chose Perfect Sense's platform, Brightspot,® to power its Copa Mundial de la FIFA Brasil 2014. Fans can rank players and vote on their performances; the game-watching community selects a 'man of the match' at the end of each game. Scores are aggregated throughout the month and shown on a leaderboard. Additionally, fans can participate in a bracket challenge that allows them to pick winners of every round of the tournament. Prizes will be awarded for each round and there will be a leaderboard that allows fans to see how they stack up against their friends and the rest of the Copa Mundial audience.
